Chine collé is a fun lino printing technique, where we combine collage with lino printing to create unique, colourful prints.

This workshop is suitable for those who have already done some lino carving and single colour lino printing and who would like to learn this fun way of adding colour to a lino print.

You will go home with a set of around six Christmas cards ready to go in the post, and you will also learn how to continue making more greetings cards at home using your finished lino carving. Designs will be supplied or you can bring along your own (if bringing your own, please be aware that the maximum size is 9cm x 9cm).

All tools and materials are provided, just bring yourself! We’ll be using plenty of blockprinting ink and glue in this workshop, so please either wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Hot drinks and cake will also be served.

About the workshop space:
The workshop is held in the workshop studio in my own home, just outside Stanley, County Durham. Please note: access to my home involves stairs.

There is a maximum number of three people on the workshop, so you will receive plenty of individual attention and tuition. Why not join up with a friend and spend a creative day together?
