Celtic Knot Drawing for Beginners Workshop

This workshop can be booked on demand for a group of 2 to 4 people in my workshop, or between 8 to 10 people in a hired venue. Please contact me to arrange a date.
Three hour workshop, £35 per person.
Venue: my home studio, just outside Stanley, County Durham

Learn the art of drawing and creating Celtic knots!

In this workshop I’ll take you through the methods of how a Celtic knot is created. We’ll start off by creating some simple knots. Once you have mastered the technique, we’ll move on to creating break lines in your Celtic knots, to create different patterns.

There will be plenty of hints and tips on making your Celtic knotwork your own along the way. By the end of the class, you’ll be confident in being able to create your own basic Celtic knots.

This workshop is suitable for beginners. All tools and materials are provided, just bring yourself! Of course, hot drinks and light refreshments will be provided too.

Workshops will take place at my home workshop just outside Stanley, County Durham.
(Please note that my home workshop is accessed by stairs.)

If you would like to see my own Celtic knotwork, you can find my portfolio at carriedennison.co.uk

We had a great time on this course. Carrie is a welcoming and patient teacher who explained everything really well. I would have no hesitation recommending this course to other beginners.

Carrie was an excellent teacher. She made the technique simple to understand and once I had grasped the basics, she helped me to create more intricate work. I left with several pieces of work and an in-depth handout to refer to and further develop. Carrie is very approachable and friendly.
