Junk Journal / Book Making workshop recap

Thanks so much for coming on the workshop!

Here’s a recap video of how we made the journal. As well as pausing and rewinding the video, you can slow the video down by clicking on the video, clicking the cogwheel icon in the bottom right hand corner, and select a slower speed.

The measurements for the components for the journal shown in the video are:
Fabric: 24cm x 13cm
Decorative paper: 2 x A5 sheets, 21cm x 14.8cm
Cardboard: 2 sheets, 18cm x 14cm
Paper for inside the journal: 12 sheets, 27cm x 17cm

If you’re using A4 paper for inside the journal, then use these measurements:

Punch holes in all of the inner pages at 3cm from both edges and at 10.5cm
Embroidery thread: Cut to three times the height of the book
Cardboard for covers: Cut two sheets, each 15cm x 22cm
Decorative papers for covers: Cut two sheets, each 16.5cm x 25cm
