Learn the art of metal embossing, while creating a unique Christmas tree ornament. The decoration will be embossed on both sides, and will be created from aluminium.
I’ll take you through the method of transferring the design to the aluminium, learning the techniques of metal embossing and how to add a finish to make it look aged. Your decoration will be finished with a splash of colour – as it is Christmas after all!
You will leave the workshop with one ready to hang Christmas tree ornament. Designs will be supplied or you can bring along your own. The finished bauble size is approximately 11cm at its longest point and 8.5cm at its widest point.
The Christmas ornament would make a wonderful hand made gift, especially if personalised for a loved one.
No experience of metal embossing is necessary, as you will be taken through all the methods to make your Christmas tree ornament.
