Suitable for beginners. Using aluminium we will create a design that will decorate a metal hanger. The metal hanger will be suitable for hanging lightweight items like keys or dog leads.

We’ll go through the process of applying your chosen design to the metal, and then will learn how to gradually emboss the metal to the desired depth. Once the design has been finished, we can add texture and extra details.

We’ll then attach the metal to the base board of the hanger and then age the metal to finish off the hanger.

I have designs that you can choose from, or you can bring your own design. The maximum size of your design should be 10cm x 10cm, so that it can fit on to the hanger.

All materials are provided, and hot drinks and light refreshments will be available too.

Workshops will take place at my home workshop just outside Stanley, County Durham.
Please note that my home workshop is accessed by stairs.
