Upcoming dates:
28 April 2024, 2pm to 5pm
Three hour workshop, £35 per person.
Venue: My home workshop studio, just outside Stanley, County Durham
This workshop can also be booked on demand for a group of 2 to 4 people in my studio, or 8 to 10 people in a hired venue. Please contact me to arrange a date.

A fun introduction to the art of metal embossing, learning how to make traditional ‘corazones mexicanos’ – Mexican hearts or sacred hearts, based on the Mexican artform of milagritos.

We’ll start off the workshop by working on your own heart design, which I will guide you through.

Once your design has been drawn, I will take you through the methods of metal embossing the heart. Once the metal embossing has been finished, we will decorate the heart with both acrylic paints and Sharpies.

The finished heart can then be used as a wall decoration, or if you prefer, glued to a panel or keepsake box.

This workshop is suitable for beginners.

The workshop is held in the workshop studio in my own home, just outside Stanley, County Durham. Please note: access to my home involves stairs.

There is a maximum number of four people on the workshop, so you will receive plenty of individual attention and tuition. Why not join up with some friends and spend a creative day together?
