This workshop is designed specifically for beginners and for those who say they ‘can’t draw’! Of course, those with sketching experience are very welcome too.

This workshop is all about getting outside and enjoying some fresh air, finding shapes and colour in the landscape around St Michael’s & All Angels Church, and producing small 6cm square sketches.

We’ll do a few simple drawing exercises in the church first, and then we’ll move outside to observe the landscape, details and colours around us.

All materials will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, and sturdy shoes for walking.

If the weather is really bad, then we’ll have plenty of sketching opportunities inside the church.
