Student Showcase: Bargello Mini Wallhanging

I had a lovely day teaching a bargello for beginners workshop. In this particular workshop we learned about the bright and fun stitching form called bargello, and in the process made a start on a mini wallhanging. The main part of the motif was created on the day, with guidance on how to create the border and the tassels. I gave enough materials to finish the bargello wall hanging at home, one of which you can see here.

It’s a lovely relaxing process, and is a perfect little project to take away with you on holiday, or to do in the evenings to relax.
