Student showcase: autumn leaves lino printing at Land of Oak and Iron
Lots of fabulous autumn leaves lino prints were created on my workshop at the Land of Oak and Iron Heritage Centre yesterday. The workshop was aimed specifically at beginners to lino printing, and I took everyone through getting used to the tools and materials, through to designing their blocks and then printing them up in various ways. Everyone had fun printing up in plain, gradient and finally multi-coloured inks, and printed up plenty of pieces of artwork to take home. I asked everyone to select their favourite prints for the photos – aren’t they all fabulous! Wonderful work, everyone!
