Student showcase: illuminated metal embossed monograms at South Pelaw
These illuminated metal embossed monograms were made over two evenings at South Pelaw Community Hub. I took everyone through creating their own design and getting started on the embossing on the first evening, and then everyone finished their pieces on the second, and added colour if required. We had some lovely designs created, some for presents, some as tributes, some as house numbers. It was great to hear the story behind each person’s design.
It was a great couple of sessions with a really lovely group, and everyone made beautiful pieces. Fantastic work, all of you, and I look forward to coming back and seeing you all again next year.
