Student showcase: Prudhoe Art Trail 2025
My weekly community art group are taking part in the Prudhoe Art Trail again this year, and shown above is their fabulous display.
The Prudhoe Art Trail showcases local artists who are displaying their artwork in businesses and community spaces along Front Street in Prudhoe. My community art group has a display board in the library, with their artwork on the theme of ‘Myths and Memories of Derwentside’. Members of the group have worked in watercolours, pencils, collage, pastels, textile arts and metal to create their artwork. I love every piece they created, and the tales behind them too (which you can read about on the display).
The trail is on until 19th July, and a good place to start is either the Prudhoe Community Hub or Prudhoe Library, and then work your way along Front Street.
