Student showcase: Clay board brooches, keyrings, necklaces and fridge magnets
A blast from the past for those of you who were part of the old Graphicus days – Stampbord! Stampbord is a clay covered thin board, nowadays mainly sold in larger sheets as an art support and known as ‘claybord’.
Back in the day when I used to work for a craft company, Graphicus, it was mainly sold in smaller pieces. It can be inked and stamped on to and then you can scratch back in to the clay surface to create highlights.
I hosted a workshop at the wonderful Breathing Space in Witton Gilbert this afternoon and everyone had lots of fun getting inky and creating fridge magnets, keyrings, brooches and necklaces with the material.
Fabulous work was created by everyone, as you can see in the photos.
