Student showcase: metal embossed illuminated monograms at Land of Oak and Iron

A fabulous selection of metal embossed illuminated monograms were made on my workshop at Land of Oak and Iron Heritage Centre on Sunday.

I took everyone through the tools and materials first of all and then we created a test piece to get used to using everything. Next I took everyone through designing their own monograms and once the designs were drawn, everyone got creating!

It was a really lovely group and you can see how well they all took to the craft by the brilliant pieces they all created. As well as monograms we had a couple of people decide to make house number signs instead.
