Student Showcase: Lino print play

What a great three weeks I’ve had lino printing with the community art group at The Lodge at Blackhill and Consett park!

We have been working with one of my rose sketches, and from this, created reduction lino prints, gradient prints, two colour lino prints using using one block and masking, as well as plain old one colour printing!

The main aim was to have fun playing with different techniques, and seeing which technique suited each participant best. They all produced brilliant lino cuts, I’m sure you’ll agree!

If you haven’t had a go at lino printing before, then my Introduction to Lino Printing workshop would be perfect for you.

If you already have done some lino printing, and would like to take your practice to the next level, then why not try reduction lino printing yourself, in my Introduction to Reduction Lino Printing workshop.
