Student showcase: metal embossed coasters

A great couple of hours spent yesterday with members of a local WI group and their friends showing everyone how to make metal embossed coasters.

Apart from one student, who has come along to a number of my workshops, everyone was a complete beginner to metal embossing. As you can see from the photos, everyone really took to the technique.

I always love how everyone starts off with the same templates and creates pieces unique to them. Beautiful work, everyone!
