Exhibition: Creative Calligraphy’s ‘Inspired by Lindisfarne’ exhibition

Last October I taught Celtic knotwork to two groups of calligraphers, who attend weekly workshops hosted by Angela Reed of Creative Calligraphy.

Angela’s groups are currently exhibiting at the Customs House, South Shields, in an exhibition called ‘Inspired by Lindisfarne’, where they have combined calligraphy, Celtic knotwork and book making to put together a wonderful exhibition.

Find out more about the project, and see some of the wonderful artwork created, over on the Creative Calligraphy blog. The exhibition runs at the Customs House in South Shields until Sunday, February 26.

Three of my Celtic knotwork pieces are also displayed as part of the exhibition. A big thank you to Angela for inviting me to work with her and her calligraphy groups.

Angela teaches calligraphy workshops around the north east of England (I’m looking forward to attending one in May!), and you’ll find out more about those on her website too.

If you would like to learn Celtic knotwork with me, then come on one of my workshops!
