Get creative: make a mini accordion fold sketchbook

I’ve been enjoying getting myself out and doing plenty of plein air sketching recently, mainly due to watching great videos by Woodward’s Watercolours, Koosje Koene and Toby Sketch Loose – I can definitely recommend those YouTube channels if you would like plenty of tips and encouragement!

I made some simple accordion sketchbooks to put in my plein air kit for a weekend away last month, and filmed the process, so if you would like to learn how to make one, here’s the video. Have fun making one, and please let me know how you get on in the comments section.

  1. Very effective Carrie, I really enjoyed watching it, I’m going to have a go🤞I’ve also watched the cactus card one, I feel inspired now.
I’ve been to a few of your sessions in Witton Gilbert which I loved, but to have a video to follow as I’m doing it will be fab, as I’m not confident with crafty/arty stuff, thank you so much.
