Student showcase: metal embossed hangers at Land of Oak and Iron
I had a wonderful time with a lovely group at the Land of Oak and Iron Heritage Centre in Winlaton Mill yesterday, showing everyone how to make metal embossed hangers.
Everyone took so well to the craft, as you can see from the photos. Every piece was beautifully crafted, and it was great to see people adding their own ideas to the pieces too.
Most people decided to take their hanger hook with them, rather than add it on the workshop, as they hadn’t decided whether to frame their pieces or use them as hangers. They will all look beautiful either way!
